24 Hours in Santa Barbara

I was hanging out in UCSB for a bit and had a day to spend in Santa Barbara. The city is developing super quickly and offers quite a few things beyond its beautiful beaches. Here’s a rundown of my day there.

Breakfast at Handlebar Coffee: I don’t drink coffee but I do love a good croissant. The almond croissant here is flaky and delicious. (Also, my friends tell me that the coffee here is the best in Santa Barbara).

Morning Yoga at Power of Your Om: this cute studio is right on State St. They have classes throughout the day for all levels. The teachers are great; be prepared to sweat.

Lunch at Los Agaves: Mmm, tacos. I’m from the East Coast where the mexican situation, while not dire, is not as good as it is in California. And Los Agaves always hits the spot. Tacos of all kinds here are great as are burritos.

Beaching it up at More Mesa: so no one really comes here so it’s a great place to enjoy beautiful ocean views in solitude. The entrance is on Mockingbird Lane; you can park on Viejo Drive or Puente Drive.

Happy Hour at the Black Sheep: you get 25% off beer, 5$ wine, and some kick ass small plates. I personally loved the scallop crudo, which was super fresh.

End the night at the Mill where you can get taste great wine at Potek Winery, eat your weight in meat at Wildwood Kitchen, and drink all the beers at Third Window Brewery.

Hope you enjoyed the day!
